1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham Description

You are looking at one of the cleanest, untouched '78 New Yorkers probably in existence today. This car never even saw rain until 5 days ago. It has been garaged since early 1979 when bought new. Never driven in rain or in the winter. No rust. There is still a February 1979 newspaper still in the trunk. Car was purchased new here in Spokane at Bill Brown Chrysler/Plymouth which eventually became part of Dishman Dodge.
This car runs and drives like a new car, interior still smells new,8 track player works perfectly,Ac blows cold, heater works great-all power options work.
There are only 4 small flaws with this car.1. The windshield wipers quit working. The switch and motor are fine but the small bushings that hold the linkage together broke from age. I have replacements ready to go.
2. The interior ash tray has a "Mary" pendant glued onto the wood grain. I have an original ash tray for that as well to switch it out.
3. The plastic covers on the front seat belts came off. Both of them in the glove box.
4 The paint has a few minor knicks in it from use. Nothing major. Original color is Spinnaker White.
That's it.
The car is loaded. Power seats,windows,trunk,locks,AC(blows cold),8 track(works great),telescopic wheel,tilt,cruise.
I'll let the pictures do the talking. The 440 V8 purrs and is very quiet. I have receipts and paperwork dating back to 1984 for repairs. The original dealer brochure is sitting on the back seat-everything is included.
In 1978,the rear wheel skirts were an option-this car was ordered without them.
The original Firestone spare tire is still in the trunk.
This is a turn-key car and besides what I mentioned up above-it needs absolutely nothing. It is a 9 out of a 10 as is and very close to show quality.
This car is original. It has never been repainted,no bodywork done, top is original,interior-everything. If you ever wanted to see what a brand new 1978 Chrysler New Yorker looked like-this is about as close as you're going to get. The factory black oil streak markings are still on the valve covers.
This car in person will make your jaw hit the floor. It's that nice. Drive it across the country if you like. I really wanted to keep this car for shows next summer but unfortunately I can't so here is your chance for a super nice example of one the best riding cars that ever came out of the 70's.
