2005 Chrysler Crossfire Description

For everything there is a season. I have owned this Areo Blue Crossfire SRT 6 for about 4-5 years and have enjoyed it very much. But, I am getting older and with my terrible back, it is getting harder for me to get in and out of the car. It will not be easy, but it is time to sell and pass it on for someone else to enjoy. If you do not know about the Crossfire, it was a car produced when Mercedes Benz owned Chrysler. The Crossfire was built in Osnabrück Germany by Karmann. The SRT version was a special edition model built by M/B performance division; AMG. That meant that the suspension, brakes, front splitter, interior, steering and most of all the engine, were all re-worked to give improved performance and style. All AMG performance engines are built one at a time by a single AMG engineer. The Crossfire SRT engine is a Supercharged SOHC, 18 valve, 3.2 liter V6, putting out 350 hp & 310 ft/lbs torque. It is fast (0-60 in 4.8 seconds), top speed is limited by the computer to 155 mph., stops fast (70-0 in 157 ft.), agile (1g turn), and most of all fun. This Crossfire now has cold air induction and yellow Koni adjustable performance shocks. All SRT's came standard with a shift-able 5 speed automatic transmission. The standard features of this car is very long. The wheels that are on the car are brand new and another OEM set will come with the car. Tires are in very good condition. Let me know if you have any questions, but don't waste my time. Serious buyers only. No joy riders. I do not need or want any help selling the car. I like this car very much and as much as I need to sell it, I will only sell to someone who I feel will take care of the car. Chrysler/Mercedes made very few of these cars and they are becoming quite rare. Here is your chance to buy a future collectible classic. There are excellent Crossfire on line support/social groups who know everything there is to know about the Crossfire (Crossfire Forum and 3-4 Facebook pages) and they meet twice a year to travel on The Dragon in N.Carolina. I have had no problems with this car, but it is 11 years old and there are a couple of scratches/chips in the splitter/paint. It is up-to-date with all regular maintenance for the mileage. As far as I know this car has never been in an accident. This Crossfire is listed in other areas and may be sold before this auction is over.
