You can now own a VERY NICE Classic Imperial that is getting very hard to find, especially in this kind of GORGEOUS - SURVIVOR condition !! I say VERY RARE as they only produced 6,821 Imperial Sedans in 1956 !! I felt like I was driving a one year old '56 Chrysler when I drove this car home last night, UNBELIEVABLE !! 1956 was the LAST and they tell me the BEST year of the two year only, first generation Imperials and also the FIRST year of the 354 CID "Firepower" Hemi V8 motor and the 3 Speed Push Button TorqueFlite automatic transmission !! The Chrysler Imperial was a stunning body style in 1956 and still is some 60 years later. We have been asked to sell this Beauty for some local Idaho, 65 year old friends of ours who are Classic Car enthusiasts and as you can tell it has been their pride and joy for sure !! They just took it on a 200 mile road trip and it drove flawlessly the whole way !! They also told us that the car has absolutely no leaks !! This car was bought new in Portland, Oregon in 1956. The second owner bought the car and took over payments in Gladstone, Oregon in 1957 from the estate of the first owner. He owned the car from 1957 until 2015 ( 58 years !!) when he sold this car to our friends, the third owners who live here localy in Boise, Idaho and they brought the car here from the Portland, Oregon area in 2015 !! The rear Oregon license plate the you see in the pictures is the ORIGINAL from 1956 !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low!! This Chrysler Imperial still retains it'scorrectly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - front bumper cowl mounted Imperial data plate and it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door pillar mounted Imperial VIN plate, both of which are shown in several pictures below. I drove this Imperial for about a week as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errandsas needed and I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !!
