2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. Very Nice. 77K miles. NO RESERVE
2002 Chrysler Sebring Description
Hello. Up for bid is a really nice 2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible with a 2.7L V6 engine and a low 77K miles. Please read this entire description before placing a bid on this car. If you have any question, please ask before you bid. This is a NO RESERVE auction, so the high bidder will win the vehicle. Please do not bid unless you are able and willing to complete the purchase.
**PLEASE NOTE** This car is not available to Maryland residents. I hold a Maryland wholesale license, which means I cannot sell to the general public in Maryland. The car is available to residents of the remaining 49 states! I purchased the car from a local (Delaware) new car dealer who took it in on a new car trade.
I have driven this car for the past week. It is a genuine pleasure to drive. The motor runs extremely well and the transmission shifts smoothly. All buttons and gauges work. The paint is glossy, although there are some minor scratches as you'd expect on a 14 year old car. I suspect that most of the scratches can be removed by a good detail shop. The interior is in excellent condition with no tears or significant wearing in the upholstery. I have found nothing that would indicate any significant mechanical issues.
There are a couple of items to note. The exterior fabric of the convertible top is in poor condition, although it does appear to be water tight (I haven't driven it in the rain to verify). The rear panel of the top has separated from the glass rear window. You can see the duct tape (Gorilla Tape) repair in the pictures. Also, the oil pressure light will flicker or come on at idle when the engine is fully up to temperature. It goes off as soon as you start to drive. This is a VERY common occurrence for the 2.7 V6 Sebring. If you do a google search you will see that it is normally the oil pressure sensor switch, which is triggered by a spring that tends to get gummed up. Finally, the headlight lenses are slightly fogged (again, not an uncommon occurrence).
Overall this is a very clean car that should give years of pleasure to its next owner. This is a great time to buy a convertible - just in time for the wonderful weather of late summer and early fall!
I always try to describe my items honestly, but please look at the pictures carefully and ask any questions before you bid. If you have more than 5% negative feedback, or have less than 5 completed transactions, please contact me before you bid. If you fall within one of those circumstances and do not reach out to me before you bid, then I will cancel your bid.
The wining bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle in Newark, Delaware. If you need to ship the vehicle, please make sure you can arrange for the shipping prior to bidding.
Good luck!
