GM had planned to make 500 Hydro Blue units to match the Ruby Red Special Edition Sky build count.

However, after Roger Penske backed out of buying Saturn, GM immediately terminated production. As such,

only 89 Hydro Blue Limited Editions were built.

Combined with the Unique Vin Code and Special Edition Features, it has resulted in a significantly higher value

for the Sky, already in various blue books and can be considered a collector's car.

* The Hydro Blue Sky is one of the Lowest Production Cars GM has made.

Most Saturn Sky owners and even Car Dealerships are unaware of the

limited production and history of this car.

*The original dealership sticker price was based on 500 units (about $33,200.00), not 89 units.

If GM intended to only produce 89 Cars, the price of the Hydro Blue would have been

considerably higher than the $33,200.00 suggested dealership price.

*This car may be the only Hydro Blue Redline Special Edition for sale

in the country at this moment.

As mentioned, the car is show quality. I have taken the car to 3 car shows this past summer.

I left early for one show because of possible rain. The car won outstanding Trophy Awards for the

other two shows. One show, the sponsor judges voted, the other show, only the car owners interred

with their classic cars voted, (which was one of the largest shows of the summer-300 plus cars).

This is the trophy I am most proud of. Classic Car people do not usually vote for a Saturn Sky.
