1973 Replica/Kit Makes Kelmark GT GT Description

Hello,
I am selling my 1982 Kelmark GT with only 7,241 original miles to the highest bidder. The Kelmark is the nicest example I have ever seen. This is a unrestored car that was garage kept from new. Iacquired the car from the original owner/builder. The original owner built the car in 1982 and spared noexpense and cut no corners in the assembly of it.
It is built on a 1973 VW beetle chassis. The chassis iscompletely rust and corrosion free, with no damage (dents,scrapes or metal repairs) the under side is near perfect. It was paintedcompletely with chassis black topreserve the car. The front suspension was justcomplete rebuilt with all the ball joints,tired ends, damper, and misc hardware. I have several invoices for the work that was done
The engine was rebuilt at the time the car was assembled in 1982. It has beenmodified to a 1835cc with a mild #110 camshaft, header exhaust, and dual 34mmcarburetors . The ignition was changed to a Mallory Hy-fire CDI and a solid state 009 distributor. The engine runs wonderful and pulls very well, it was just tuned up in january . Again I have invoices for the repairs
The tires are new with no miles on them, The brakes have been rebuilt with all new wheel cylinders, fluid flush and hardware. The bearing were re-greased and adjusted. The battery is new as well. I have records for all the repairs that have been done over the winter.
This is a rare find, there were less than 1100 Kelmarks built and most of them are gone. The others have been restored of poorly assembled from day one and have never been corrected. The car has theoriginal gel coat and has never been painted like most of them out there have been. You will be hard pressed to find a better example!!This Kelmark is a true time capsule in every way. A few other things I forgot to say about the car. It has the factory roll bar installed. The radio is a high end unit with Pandora as well as C/D. It has a power antenna. I fuel tank sender was replace with a new one two months ago.

A few more detail about the car, this will answer the questions I havereceived . The wheels are original 5x4.75 Chevrolet boltpattern . The hinge areas in the door jamb have no cracks and the door close with out any issues. The engine deck lid and the trunk lid also open and close correctly. I have the build manual anda lot of paperwork on this car. I have put over $5,000 into the car this winter in repairs and service. This is a well sorted car, not a rolling project like most. I have had 3 door keys cut and 3 door keys cut. There are no electric gremlins in this car it all works as ir should. Please call me if you have question or want more pictures 419-957-9694. The Kelmark has Factory A/C that is all there except the compressor and bracket. I have never seen one with air conditioning
