1970 Datsun SRL311 2000 Description

Owned for over 30 years, kept in driver condition, has been reliable and a blast to drive and own, next lucky person's turn now. I purchased this in Texas and if you know that weather even on 100 degree days you can run into a rain storm...so a friend and I installed A/C, worked fine in the 1990's. Since we moved north neither the A/C or the car has been used much, been stored in my garage for the last 15 years mostly, got it out and going again last summer. Flushed the fuel, bled the brakes, and changed the battery. Did some work on the carbs as they were pretty gummed up, runs OK now but not nearly as good as it can. I would not be reluctant to drive this right now for a few hundred miles, probably stay off freeways and not tailgate as the brakes are a bit soft. This car needs more things than I care to list but none so severe it can't be enjoyed right now. It needs paint and some dings and dents removed to be nice, paint is chipping and spidering, interior is OK as is the engine. A/C not working now as the compressor locked up and broke the mounting bracket, no big deal to someone with a little talent and a few tools. The last two photos are (1994 Houston to Shasta Ca trip, complete with trailer, not included now) and a hard top that is the same model as this one pictured and will be included, but mine needs some refinishing, have all the glass, I'll try to get a pic of it later. Also have some boxes of parts, orig smog, orig nice trunk mount luggage rack, new shocks, pieces of this and that...lots of literature and manuals. This car needs to go, so as someone famous once said "Let her rip tater chip!"Please ASK questions!
