2001 Dodge Dakota Club Cab Description

I bought this Dodge Dakota in February of 2010. The two prior owners both worked at the same Dodge dealership and they were Dodge mechanics. The truck had 92,000 miles on it when I bought it. The truck has never given me any problems. I changed the oil every 5,000 miles. The tires have about 5,000 miles on them, Everything works as it should. On the passenger side door, the clips that hold the window panel on broke-they were like that when I got it, but the panel stays in place anyway (see the picture). The paint is faded as you can tell. The interior is in great shape. I am a non smoker. The 4WD works great and there is very little rust on the truck. The truck has a new exhaust from the converter back and I just changed the oil. I have a bed extender and a heavy duty rubber bed mat that goes with it. The truck really runs nice and it drives straight and tracks smooth. The truck passed a state safety inspection in March, 2016 and I see no reason why it would not pass any state's safety inspection. The truck is in King George, Virginia and I see no reason it could not be driven a significant distance if needed-it really runs nice. I replaced this truck with a RAM 2500 because I just needed a bigger truck for some of the things I will be doing. I have described this truck as honestly as I can. I also have a clamp on removable bed cover that will go with the truck. Also, the bed is in excellent condition. It has a Rhino Linings spray in bed liner as well. As you can tell from the pictures the tailgate does have a dent in it at the top. The tailgate closes fine though you have to slam it (my wife can close it). It opens fine, but the handle takes a fairly good tug to get it to release. This is due to the dent. To me, and as much as I used the truck, it was not a big deal and not worth fixing-like I said, it functions as it is supposed to. I wanted to make everyone aware. Any questions, please ask.
