1986 Dodge Daytona Description

For auction and re-posted is a 1986 Dodge Dayton, Ebay was not able to recognize the vin# 1B3BA46E2GG206826. This car has a clear title, Millage is unknown to me speed o is electronic, could install a battery and get it if its that important to you as the buyer. One thing is for sure, this car is rust free, has never been to my knowledge in any accident, garage parked throughout it's life, has an excellent body, paint is clean and sharp, and interior is in great shape. It is a roller with eng. and trans that needs rebuilding. Presented the car the best I can.
This car once ran both, a big block and a small block since it was built by the original owner. I did not build this car, but I must say it was built right, and built safe. It has been back half and is set up with leaf springs and has a 8 and 3/4 in it with sure grip posi trac, not sure on gear. Car has now 11 and 1/2 tire on the rear and will take up to near a 15'' as it sets. Car runs a fuel cell between the leaf springs and has a sending unit in it for the gas gauge. Fuel cell fills from out side the car behind license plate. Has nicely finished wheel tubs. Cars been tied together with frame connectors. This car is a really nice car, if you feel what you see is junk or feel you could build one better or cheaper then buying what I have, cool. Turning one of these front wheel drive cars into a rear wheel drive and setting it up right and making it safe for a big block is both timely and costly. A 426 Hemi would fit into this car.
Front end has chrome molly lower control arms, disc brakes, trans cooler, Rad over flow tank, battery tray, and all wiring and hoses are in place. Hood scoop has hood cut out under scoop for carbs. Comes with no Rad. and no shifter or Exhaust other then the headers. Those parts were not included when I got the car.
Car has in it now a 1978 440 and 727 trans, both needing rebuilding. Motor is cast crank and turns over and all major motor parts are with it. Custom built headers for the car are in place and the custom built drive shaft is also in the car. I'm selling this car for two reasons, I have other projects that date to my age being 60 cars, and I'm short on storage for this winter. I really like this car, but I don't need it in my collection and would like turn it loose to someone that is into this body style.. Everything on this car works including brakes. Tires are new.
If you already have a power plant ready to go, I'll knock off 500 for the motor and trans. Install your motor and trans. and drive. A $500 deposit is to be paid within 48 hours of end of auction through direct deposit. I do not do pay pal. Bal. is to be paid in full by cash or by bank deposit before car is shipped, buyer is responsible for shipping cost, I can help in sitting up shipping and will help load. If you personally come to pick the car up and feel I miss led you, your deposit - Ebay selling and listing fee, and 100 dollars for my time will be refunded on the spot. I don't feel anyone of a reasonable mind would be disappointed with this car.
