1969 Dodge Charger General Lee
1969 Dodge Charger SE Description
It's time to get rid of my 1969 Dodge Charger "General Lee". It has a none original 440 engine and a 727 torqueflite transmission. The engine is a 1977 model 440 but runs very good. It has HP manifolds, Edelbrock carb and a DynoMax exhaust. To help keep you cool in the summer, it has a vintage air A/C. The brakes are new power disc/drum with brand new brake lines and booster. The fuel system is a new gas tank, fuel-pickup and fuel lines. It also has new wiring. "Most" of the exterior chrome and trim is new. The front and rear bumpers are new. The front grill is in great shape. The wheels are restored Vector 15x8.5 wheels from Detroit Vintage Wheels wrapped in BFG Radial TA (235/60-15 front/255/60-15 back). The interior is a mix of new and old with new seats covers, carpet and steering wheel. It also has a removable roll bar in case you want to take the whole family for a ride. The paint is Hemi Orange. It doesn't have any major rock chips or scratches. The underside has undercoating to help protect it from rust. It's not the best looking job but it's better than nothing : ) The vinyl graphics are beautiful. They look like it was painted on. I have an extra "01" and "General Lee" type in case anything happens to them. The rearend is a 8 3/4. I don't know what gear it has, but I'm guessing 3:23 or 3:55. If you have any question, feel free to call me at eight-six-five 414-4992 or e-mail me at dmaynor23@comcast.net. Thanks!
