1951 Dodge Pickup 1/2 ton
1951 Dodge Other Pickups Description
This is a 1951 Dodge pickup. It is a 1/2 ton b3 "Pilot House". I like it, but found another project I like better, so It has to go. This truck is in good shape. It is about 85% complete. It runs good, stock I6 with new cap/rotor, wires, coil, plugs, belts, hoses, water pump, rebuilt carb (Uremco), and fuel pump. The body is very solid and straight. It is "Hot Rod" black now but could be ready for paint in short order. Originally it was a forest green. This truck has a "3 on the tree". I have replaced the mater cylinder, all hoses, 2 lines, front wheel cylinders, and had the front shoes relined ($$$$). The brakes are mushy and need to be bled and adjusted. The lights are all in place but need to be wired up. I do have a new switch along with some other items that go with the truck. I will try and get the brakes and switch wired in, but bid as if they won't be. Tires hold air but need to be replace. Exhaust is good, no holes no noises. Trans shifts smoothly thru all 3. All components have been bench checked and work...lights, horn, wiper, heater. In addition the water temp and oil pressure gauge work. haven;t hooked up the gas gauge yet. I also have a complete draw thru turbo set up for a BB Mopar. You only need carb, drivers manifold and to rebuild the turbo. RayJay sells bigger units for more power if need be. Current set-up is good for 500+Hp and TONS of torque. The turbo set is NOT included in your bid. There is a $250 NON REFUNDABLE deposit due w/in 3 days of auction end. If you have any questions please ask, and you can always come by and look at it. Not sure why Ebay pulled my last ad. This IS FOR SALE. If you'd like more pictures or info please ask.
*. * Bled the brakes today, good pedal, however the passenger side rear wheel cylinder blew. The line was caped and I drove it around the block. The truck will "yard drive". If you BIN I will toss in the turbo set-up.
