This is an Original F body dodge aspen SE paint is original harvest gold. RUNS AND DRIVES GREA, I have had it for about 8 or 9 years now i did drive it all the time but it has sit in my garage now for two years and have only gotten it out once tired of insurance and taking up space so it is time to sell, It has a all original 318 with original lean burn carburetor, not this does take away power but it does get 22 mpg not bad for a 318 and it still has enough power to do burn outs. Even on old gas. Front two tires are new placed last year and less than 100 miles on them, back tires could use some new rubber, not the best. Now this car is not perfect by any means but would be an easy project paint is bubbling up in a couple of spots and a couple of small rust holes, and grill has a crack in it. seats have covers on them as they have been worn down and even the covers have been worn down as they have been on car for at least 10 years. interior is fair headliner is board and has been cracked over time and a small piece missing, louvers and spoiler i do not think are original equipment and had been added at some point but it does make car look good. Even in the shape it is currently in i still took it to car shows and get lots of looks and questions because you do not ever see f- body cars on the road most have been cut up for part and they were excellent drag cars. front disk brakes rear drum brakes, cars stops well with power brakes, also car has power steering, car is an original a/c car but about a year ago a hole was worn into the condenser side and has since leaked out Will be included with the car as it is out currently. The rear lights are also a rarity as they are only on select 1976 cars this is one. The best I can find there are only 1500 of this car made with these options which makes this a rare car even thought it is not hugely popular, Car does smell like moth balls and mouse pee as found a mouse nest in the trunk this round No damage to car was done just some insulation pulled out from under seat. Windshield and rear glass are in excellent shape, rims are American racing wheels. and are 15". The car has developed a small leak from the front transmission seal, this never did this before but now when the car sits for a long time it is not a great amount and if the car is being drove it does not leak but after a month or two it will lose about a 1/2 pint from seal. I have tried to explain all issues with car the reflection from the sun in the garage on the clean picture is actually the gloss that is still on paint. Car does look good even with the few minor blemishes, cars paint does has many nicks small scratches and bumps, but there is no bondo in this car and fenders are excellent shape. trunk Is in excellent condition with no rust, Dash is in excellent condition along with spedo and stereo (stereo not original nor is steering wheel) Any questions please just ask, I also would not hesitate to take this car on an hour or two trip with no hesitation, that being said with any any older cars it is always a risk. This car would be an excellent project to make perfect or drive as is and fix a little at a time. ***just for some clarification in 1976 there was a total of 61,917 dodge aspens made, in the five year production 230,923-- with that being said In 1972 Dodge Charger had production numbers or 75,594 for just the one year---- SE Harvest Gold With Special Tail lights VIN number says Dodge Aspen, 2 door coupe special, High price range, 318 2bbl carb "LA" model, made in 76', and Manufactured in Hamtramck MI. ** reports say very low production of Harvest Gold, se, non rag top, with factory A/C. and like a patron stated he had a bunch of them for racing, but once again there are none for sale and you do not see them on the road or at car shows.
