1955 Dodge Lancer CORONET ROYAL CUSTOM Description

Just in is another low mileage vintage car from the car guys. This 270 cubic inch Super Red Ram Hemi equipped Dodge Coronet Royal Custom has spent it's entire life here in Bucyrus. I actually drove this car in a parade for Studer-Perrin Dodge back in the late 70's. A local farmers wife came in to the New Studer-Perrin Dodge dealership in 1964 and asked the owners if they would be interested in buying her old Dodge. Bill Studer asked her how much she wanted and she replied would $100.00 be too much. After buying the car it stayed with the dealership until it closed in 1995. The service manager at the dealership bought the car and owned it until we purchased the car last week. The car has had a repaint decades ago and it's showing it's age but still looks good from 10 foot, and shines. The glass is tinted and is very nice except for the right rear window is cracked, but it's flat glass so easy to replace. Chrome, rubber and stainless very presentable, driver quality and chrome still shines. Hubcaps are better than driver quality and nice wide whites give this car that famous 50's look. The car runs drives shifts and stops very nicely. Talk about equipment, tinted glass, power steering, power brakes, power seat, power windows and courtesy lights. It is radio, and clock delete. the numbers matching 270 cubic inch Super Red Ram Hemi and automatic transmission, and only 34,801 actual miles since new. The car sat outside a lot over the years but after 1985 spent most of the time stored in doors. Floor pans are very nice. Inner rockers have a little rust but overall for a 61 year old car this Dodge is very solid and a nice driver just as is. The seats were recovered sometime in the last 20 years and are very nice. All the power equipment works. With that being said the power window switch on the drivers door needs work, and sometimes it can be a challenge to get the windows to work but I am able to get them up and down but be prepared for some work there. Comes with a car cover.
