1962 Dodge Dart Dart/Polara 500 Description

NEWINFORMATION FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE VIEW THIS AD IN THE PAST. -I have found the door and engine compartment VIN's for this car (photo attached). I have a place here that will VIN verify it the way it sits and allow me to complete the title process which was already in the works pending VIN verification. So......This car will come with a clean title and will be on Non-OP.
This could possibly be the most rare Dart and flawless canvas of a project car. You do not see very many 2 door Darts out their. I bought the car complete. It was in storage since 1970. Had a 413 with staggered quads on it and the body and frame are rustless with no dents or dings. I stripped it down to bare metal, removed all the interior and was ready to make it into a retro rod. Unfortunately, funds have run out and I need to sell it. It will take minimal work to paint. The front and rear seats are already redone on a two tone black and gray leather (a $3000 job). I have the dash and all the trim that has beenpowder coated satin black. It just needs someone to finish this rare beautiful car. I have hundreds of pictures of the process as we took it down to the metal and pictures of what the car looked like before I started. I truly believe, with the correct job on this car, you are looking at a $100K+ car. Please call me with any question. I'm sure I missed a bunch of info so please contact me with questions. The photo's shown are as how it was when I got it and steps along the way. I know they are disorderly. This first pic is how it sits today and the second isbefore the tear down. Again, I have a bunch of photo's I can send to anyone interested. If you are looking for the lost Max Wedge Dart, this is not it. It is just a flawless body withzero rust and was nearly ready to paint.
This car comes with no motor ortransmission.
