2003 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT Description

For Sale: 2003 3500 SLT Dually w/Cummins Turbo Diesel; Red exterior/grey interior; 4-door crew cab. Cloth interior and dash is in great shape. Expect mileage of approximately 18-23 MPG (depending upon driving habits). Dealer-only serviced and we have all the records; no expense spared. In September, we installed brand new tires/alignment; new airbag (Dodge recall); new head gasket; power steering pump; A/C service; oil change; and detailing (over 1200.00 spent). Previously, we spent over 3500.00 at the 100k mile service, including: belts; battery wires; (2) batteries; full fluid change; new brakes/rotors; etc. This truck is entirely adult owned and driven; it is not used for work or to pull/haul anything but a small boat. We are the second owner; purchased from our father, so it’s been in the family since purchased new. Automatic transmission; Infinity AM/FM CD Player (factory); power windows/doors; two working key fobs; Rhino bed liner; rubber bed mat, appearance package including side skirts w/steps; fender flares; chipped for performance (aftermarket). We are downsizing, so sadly it must go. This vehicle has never been wrecked. It runs great and is extremely reliable. I challenge you to find a better-equipped, better maintained, lower-mileage Cummins anywhere near this price. Listed locally, so I reserved the right to pull this advertisement if the vehicle sells.

Known Issues: 1) There is minor damage (see pictures) consisting of a small chip out of the right-rear fiberglass fender flare, which is easily fixed. 2) Minor amount of fade on the upper surfaces of the rear fender flares; probably can be buffed out. 3) The passenger side window shade will not remain stowed in its upper position; probably needs to be replaced. 4) The upper dash area speaker grilles are cracked (see pictures). 5) The Infinity door speakers work, but rattle; probably dry rotted and need replacement. 5) The air conditioning controls work, but the airflow control does not work properly; the air can be directed to defrost, etc. but airflow is reduced because the flapper inside the dash is not actuating properly. This condition does not affect the ability to cool or heat the cabin. 6) The driver side window control button has a screw missing (or something); need to pull the driver side door panel and repair. 7) There are minor scuffs, etc. from normal wear on the painted surfaces. Paint still looks great, as you can see from the pictures; but it is not perfect. 7) Small dent in the tail gate.
