1999 Dodge Durango
1999 Dodge Durango Description
Selling my Durango 5.9 V8 4x4, 2nd owner, have had her since 2002.Our family's weekend fun car. My oldest son is getting ready to start driving so we will need a car that is more practical for him. $2500.00 FRIM and well worth it.
The good:Less than 160k miles. 2.5 inch susp lift, 2 inch body lift on 33" BFG A/T including full size spare.Kennessaw Mountain rear bumper with tire carrier, high lift jack, shackles, lic plate holder and back up lights. All accessories stay with vehicle.Tow packageAll leather int. is in good shape. There is a small tair on the driver side seat. (pictured). All the carpeting is still in good shape. Third row seat in working order as well.Cargo liner also included.Engine is in good running shape, oil changes are done every 3k miles using high milage oil.K&N air intake system and filterInjector Spacer.New water pumpNew fan clutchNew radiator hosesRecent replacement of spark plugs and plug wiresRecent replacement of leaf springs, new shackles and shocksTrani gaskets replaced (was leaking)
The bad:Volume control on stealing wheel does not work.Radio antenna cable some how or some where came loose and radio does not receive AM or FM clearly. CD and Tape work just fine. There is some rust on the body, roof and hood. Will need to be addressed. The spot on the rear roof (pictured) has a hole and some rain water will get in through there. It falls on the cargo liner so it's not a big deal. I was planning on cleaning it up and using a spray on bed liner to paint the roof and hood.Clear coat is chipping on the left front side panel. A/c works but makes the car overheat. You can drive the car all day with out the a/c but if you turn it on in traffic it will cause the car to overheat. I have not been able to figure it out but I am not a mechanic. Does just fine on the highway with the a/c on.
The vehicle is well worth the asking price. If you are handy you can make the repairs your self and have an awesome weekend driver. It has been well taken care of and the 5.9Lt V8 still runs strong and will give you many more years of work.
I will be keeping the rack pads. Roof racks stay with the car.
I am not a mechanic or a car dealer so I have tried to discribe the vehicle as best as I can. It is a 1999 so you should expect normal wear and tear. This is as I mentioned our family fun car but I do try to take care of my things.
Vehicle being advertised locally so reserve the right to end this auction.
