I have for sale a perfectly mechanically maintained 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel with 214k miles. First off let me start by saying this truck is by fast the best driving cummins I have ever driven. I have a every single invoice for all mechanical work performed, all parts purchased and all work completed on the truck from 2003 until the present day.The truck was used as a Landscaper Vehicle (owners), but was more of a personal vehicle. I have over 16 Pages of all work performed, and over 5 pages of all parts purchased.
The truck currently has 214k miles and runs absolutely phenomenal. The body is in good shape, I would say "good" shape considering the year. I will touch base on the body in a little.
Engine:214k milesStarts right up with absolutely zero hesitationsEngine has absolutely zero smoke out of the exhaustidles smoothlypulls hard and runs like it should
Transmission:The entire transmission was rebuilt from Gold Seal Transmission in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey roughly 7k miles ago. The entire transmission was re-built to all OEM spec, all new transmission lines, transmission cooler, and transmission temp gauge were installed.The transmission shifts extremely smooth. The O/D drive works perfectly as well. This cost over $2500.00 alone.
4x4:The 4x4 works excellent, engages easily
Brakes:All the brakes were redone roughly 5k miles agoAll new brake lines, from the master cylinder to the brake calipers and drums. All new rubber hoses were replaced. New rotors, pads, calipers, brake pads, etc. Everything was replaced!
Suspension/Tires:Suspension and tires are in very good shape. The tires have roughly 12-15k miles left on them.
Interior:The interior is in decent shape, the headliner is sagging, the driver-side electronic window switch is not working, the dash is NOT cracked, and everything works as it should.
Exterior:The body does have dings and dents but nothing major. There is some rust on both wheel wells but its not bad. The worst of the rust is on the driver-side floor pan. There is some rust on the bottom of both doors. The ENTIRE bottom of the truck was coated with Por-15 last winter. The underside of the truck is surprisingly very clean. The frame is super solid, the under side of the bed is in good shape as well.
Exhaust:The entire exhaust system was replaced with an OEM turbo back exhaust roughly 1 year ago.
Overall:This truck is an absolutely steal for the money. The maintenance along on the truck indicates how meticulous and important the upkeep of the truck was. There is nothing the truck needs as we currently speak/read this eBay listing. This is a turn key truck with the infamous 12V Cummins motor. The motor sounds very very healthy and will last years to come. Oil ALWAYS changed every 5k miles, the ignition switch was just replaced as well. I can not stress it enough, ANYTIME, something went wrong it was address IMMEDIATELY.
The front of the vehicle has a vinyl wrap. The wraps been on the car for a while, so i just decided to leave it on. The roof of the truck is faded and there is a hole that has been filled in with epoxy as there was previously a bacon light on the roof. You can't see it anyway so who cares!
