2006 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA CAB Description

Time for my tank to make way for a new Ram 4x4. This truck is clean and well maintained. It sports the Mercedes Commercial 6 speed manual trans. This is a great combo for towing and mileage. In the last 15k miles I have replaced all the rotors and pads. (Cheaper than the Stealership does a front break job), New factory wheels and tires 15-20k? ago, upper control arms (again cheaper than the dealer changes ball joints), sway bar link ends, fog lights (one was cracked) I also installed HD seat covers that look and feel like quality leather seats. They cover all seats, headrests, etc. Installed 3-4 years ago and still feel new.
Included is a shell (California allows it to change from Commercial to recreational use and saves $260 a year in weight fees on your registration) I also have a new Chrome bumper in the box, as i used My Ram to adjust someones seating position last year.
As you fans of the Cummings 5.9 know the 06 and half of the 07 was the last of the HO 5.9's these trucks get 5-6 mpg better than the 6.7 and do not have the smog requirements, Urea injection, or complicated soot burner systems that foul up if you do not run 50 miles per run. I have 10 topped off tanks in a row averaging 22.5 to 23.98 combined MPG, and have never needed to clean anything but the air filter. There are more than a few 5.9's with over 1 million miles running around towing coast to coast.I used this truck as my mobile office from job site to job site. A previous owner changed the rear end to 410 (3500 style) There is a 5th wheel ball folded into the center of the truck bed and bed connections for wiring. A typical issue for the Mega Cabs is the weak AC system, I have replaced the compressor, Engine fan, and removed the mixer door. It blows cold air but not much of it. The last 2 things i have heard about are installing a 5/8" shut off valve above the exhaust manifold to the heater core, and upgrading the blower fan, as the factory fan blades crack and fold reducing the flow (I had not got around to trying these options)
Truck is a no reserve, but i reserve the right to sell it locally if the right buyer swings by.Good luck and some one will be getting a great deal.
