2000 Dodge Viper GTS Description
This car is as perfect as they come. It's never been in any accidents or had any need for any mechanical work other then normalmaintenance, and t
his Viper comes from a prestigious stable of other high end investment cars.Let me first give you a history of why I bought this specific car. There are too many stories of guys who buy these cars with a thousand miles on them and they take them out and they start leaking from everywhere! I specifically chose this car because it had 27,000 miles on it when I got it in 2011, and what this means is that it's been driven about 2000 miles a year. This is important because these cars need to be driven, not just sit. If you look at the vehicle history report above, you will see the miles are exactly as you want to see them over the years, and should be noted the AutoCheck is completely clean. So, I've put about 1500 miles a year on it since I got it. As Jay Leno says, "We are caretakers of these cars for the next owner", and that's what I always do, they are better when they leave me, then when I got them. Also this Viper doesn't leak a drop of anything, anywhere, and never has!
The oil has been changed every 3000 miles on the dot with full synthetic. The air has always blown cold. There has never been one mechanical issue with this car, nor a single checkenginelight. The car is completelyunmolested, other then two items I'm aware of, thestereo was replaced with a touch screen DVD fold out (a good thing), and the inlets for the cold air intake were switched over to smoothtubes, which is a no-braineron these cars adding a few more pony's. Just recently we completely flushed all fluids including cooling system.
Now the paint... This car is one of only 280 black GTS's ever built! This is the other reason I bought this car, it's my color. It has been washed by me three times in five years, and on the rare occasion this car has been washed, it was done with bare hands, no rags. It never sees weather, and stays locked away in a climate controlled garage.
The paint is as good as a 16 year old black car can be and then some. It's been Minged (with warranty paperwork). Also the headlights are perfectly clear with nocloudiness at all, and you still see the rainbow in thelenses. We have all maintenance books also that go with the car.
It has BF-Goodwrench G-Force Super Sport fronts, and Nitto NT555R Drag Radials out back with less then a thousand miles on all four. The originals were just getting weather checked so I replaced them.
Included are all maintenance records from a Dodge dealer that retains a certified Viper technician that has done any maintenance or inspection on this Viper over the years of ownership.
I own other investment cars as well, and many more different collector cars over the years. So I own them, enjoy them and care for them, then move on to something else, and the only reason I'm selling this car and others is I purchased a Lamborghini and want to move down this road of collecting.
So if you want a showroom quality investment grade black Viper GTS then this is the one to have. The last truesupercarwithout all that driver assists!
The Viper's last year of production will be 2017, so this is the time to own an investment grade american built supercar! Collector cars are a great hedge against any economic downturn, as history shows us these investments just continue to appreciate, and this one is a great opportunity!
We also have an 02, SS 35th anniversary SLP Camaro with 10K original miles for sale here:2002 Camaro SLP!
