1953 Dodge Power Wagon Tow Truck
1953 Dodge Other Pickups Base Description
Here we have a nice unique Power Wagon variant. This truck is part of my uncle's estate. He used it for many years around his shop to pull motors, move things around the yard, and load and unload his "treasures". It runs and drives, but the brakes are not working. He used a chain hoist attached to the boom and never hooked up the main winch. The main winch is there, but the mounting brackets for some reason were torch cut. All the bracketes seem to be there. The transmission is noisy, but shifts through all the gears. There is no PTO for the main winch attached to the transmission, but one is included. There is a box of parts for the winch and workings included with the truck. The transfer case is locked into 4 low. The transfer case shifters are included, but not installed. The front driveline is included as well, but not installed. The seats are not original and the passenger's seat is not bolted down. The steering seems tight and turns freely. The fuel tank is hooked up and does not leak from all I can tell. The truck runs off of the fuel in the tank.
All in all this is a fairly complete project.
The truck is sold as-is, where-is. No warranties are made expressed or implied. The truck description is accurate to the best of my ability.
