I bought this truck around 6 months ago for Work. I got it from a local auction here in Las vegas.
Price i paid after tax andfees was $4200
After a few months thetransmission went out, SoI had one installed and a tune up done in June - cost $2500
In October i installedfront brake pads and front control Arms, also had an alignment done by PepBoys (has 3 month warranty) - spent over $600
I got the truck for work but no longer need one, the truck starts with no issues, runs and drives good. I already did the most major thing that goes out in these truck and it has a warranty.
LastFridaythe shifting felt weird so i brought it back to the shop they ended up putting another transmission in due to the first one having a factory defect. Now you have one that just got installed with 2 1/2 years warranty good across the nation, will like 20 miles driven on it.
Ive spent over $7000 on this truck making it a dependable work truck and i know iwon't get it all back but whoever gets the truck will be happy
Negativesit needs some interior trim pieces around $250 to replace themdash trim - $65 including shippingapillar trim pieces - seen oneBay for $40-$50eac, so $100cup hold is there but broke off - seen the piece sell for $50
the geargauge that showswhat gear the truck is in is out ofalignment, was told its a cable that needs to be fixed, doesn't effect anythingwith he way the truck drives
the flap that controls the air will randomly turn to heat when the AC is on every once and while, i just turn off the fan, wait a minute and turn it back on. That fixes theissue. It does blow Cold ac and heat.
it has dents and cosmetic issues around the truck but overall not to bad forbeing a work truck with 129k miles on it
