1973 Dodge Dart Swinger Description

1973 (MOPAR) Dodge Dart Swinger

(LH) serial number code which verifies it's a true swinger high performance car. It also is a factory air conditioned car. I have the orig compressor and bracket, all the ducts and controls are in place in car, however the evap. & condenser are gone. Regardless it's an easy fix or vintage air conversion. It has a period correct (nom) 273ci that's been worked and runs and sounds strong. It has a moderate cam that comes on strong at mid range and top end. The headers and dual exhaust stops under the car a little more tan 1/2 way back. It's has 355 ratio rear end posi-grip posi-traction 8 1/4 inch rear and a B&M shift kit. The car runs strong, idles like a dream and is a pleasure to drive.
The exterior paint is a beautiful British racing green metallic with the traditional/ original white swinger stripes on the rear end and swinger emblems. The color just sets the car off perfectly along with its fawn & gold original interior. The only thing the interior could use is a front seat cover as with age it's begun to split on drivers side. The paint is about 10 years old and is in very nice condition, beautiful gloss and flat. It's has a few minor scratches, blemishes it's a 8 out of 10.
The suspension was totally re- done and the car runs tight and strait down the road. This swinger Dart still posses it's original rally wheels as well as the spare. This is a very un molested MOPAR. The underside is very clean and free of rust. It had one small spot on pas anger side floor the size of a silver dollar that so one fives years ago. Trunk is Rock solid housing the original jack. It has a new OEM gas tank and filler.
chrome is very nice and has '72 bumpers no bumper-ettes to detract from this mean machine. I also have the stainless for around roof as originally this was a gold car with vinyl top. It's a car that can be taken to shows today, cruise nights, pleasure rides and enjoyed just the way it is. Or a fantastic candidate for a easy restoration to make 100% factory correct.
