1966 Dodge D200/D100 Pickup truck - stepside
This truck came from a farm in northwest Kansas, where it had spent the majority of its life. This is a very dry part of the state, and this shows on the truck, as there is little rust. There is some on the rockers, and a couple other small spots, but not much. I've had several dodge's of this vintage, and nearly every one has the door entry steps either rusted out or replaced, these areoriginal and in pretty good shape.
This truck was parked several years ago, when the gentleman quit driving. The family initially did not want to part with the truck, but it became obvious that leaving it unattended on the farm was no good either. There are a couple of bullet holes, and someone broke the driver side door glass. As you can see - someone also stole the headlights and bezels. They also stole the air cleaner - but it was noticed right away and the carb was covered. Engine turns freely by hand.
After saying all that, this is still a really great start to a project. It shouldn't take too much to get it running, and 318's are plentiful and inexpensive to work on. As I said, I've had several of these old trucks, and when I see one sitting somewhere it feels like my duty to rescue it. The title to this truck was lost years ago, and will be sold with a State of Kansas bill of sale. I will be happy to help with any paperwork you may need for your state, butplease check with your state as they are all different. I am selling this truck at no reserve, so highest bidder gets it, and I am o.k. with it sitting here a while in order for you to line out transportation. I will load or help load free of charge. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. You can call or text Cort at 620-786-5172 with any questions. Thank you and good luck.
