2001 Dodge Viper GTS Coupe 2-Door Description

Lusso Fine Motorcars is honored to present this tastefully modified, Pristine 2001 Dodge Viper GTS featured in Viper Race Yellow over Black leather Interior with 22,900 original Miles.

Exterior. The production for the GTS trim was limited to 651 units for 2001 and only 182 of those were featured in the monotone Yellow. Originally ordered by Viper Of America Club member, the Viper has been an Arizona car and always garaged, the paint and body show extremely well with only minor imperfections that you will find on a 15 year old car. The Viper sits on its original 18" Polished 5 spoke wheels wrapped in foot-wide Toyo Proxes R888's- pavement rollers that were installed less than 1000 miles ago.

Interior. This GTS cockpit features a 2 gauge pod that shows Air/Fuel Ratio, boost. A custom bolt in powdercoated roll bar was installed for safety. The interior is simple and clean with very minimal wear for the mileage.

Performance. This is where the men are separated from the boys. The original owner decided the 450Hp 8.0L V10 wasn't fast enough, so with the help of Eddie Martin and a local machine shop, The bottom end received Ross Forged Pistons and rods combo and was blue printed and balanced. The stock heads were replaced with BTR Stage II heads, and a 708 Cam was installed for more flow and all held together with ARP hardware. With the engine being "bulleproofed", a NOVI 2000 DLM Supercharger Package was installed, along with Belangar headers, and Corsa high flow cats, and cat back to let the monster breath. The intention was to overbuild the power level to maintain dependability, so a Ron Davis Radiator helps with cooling, 1000Hp BTR Half shafts help from twisting axles and Spec Stage III Clutch holds the torque. The suspension received the Koni coilovers from an ACR and were completely rebuilt and re-valved for street use. The stock brakes on the Gen 2's are notoriously weak, so a Stoptech Big brake kit was installed on all four corners to aid braking power. All the goodies add up to 1000HP on 91 with complete street friendly, emissions passing drivability.

The Viper comes with 5 keys, owner manuals, all the invoices, service records, installation instructions, car cover, original bill of sale, original window stickers and a Certified Clean Carfax. The Viper holds a special place in the the community and is one of the best built Gen 2's in the country.
