2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Description
Hello,
Up for sale I have a 2002 Dodge ram 1500 auto 4.7 4wd. The truck has well over 280k (odometer went out a while ago). That being said it runs great. Very slight smoke just at startup but runs great. Trans shifts fine and tows great too. 4wd works too. Has tons of new parts:
All new plugs and a new coil
All new injectors new battery now even a week old, new radiator
Fender flares to cover Dodge rust
Always synthetic oil changes
Intake, front pads, rear speed sensor, fresh oil change, much more
Needs the following
Fuel line into fuel rail replaced (has rubber fuel line on there now that works)
Has a working issue I think the abs module went out (have new one to go along with it) beause of this the speedometer, odometer, abs light and blower dont work. Real common issues with the rams.Needs new steering stem, has play in it. New one at junk yard goes for around 20 bucks. Check engine light on because of the speedometer not working. All windows work, radio works etc. Call or text with any questions845-707-3077Currently on the road and being driven. Had 2000lbs of mulch in the bed and it handled it like a champ! Good work horse. Not going to win any beauty contests, has bumps and bruises, it's a work truck. Has some roof and hood damage. It's a running and driving truck that you could put to work tomorrow. Frame is super solid with no rot and has a newer muffler as well. Also has the common dodge end front end squeak that doesnt bother me so i never looked into it. Must go
PLEASE NOTE that the tires shown do come with the truck!!! Must go! Tires are Brand new!
Also needs idler pulley I believe BC it squeals a little. The whole belt tensioner assembly at auto zone is $50
Truck is an animal. It will haul/tow anythingand go though anything as well.
Clean and clear title in hand ready to be signed over!
Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions.
12/1/16 tested out 4wd today and worked flawless. Noticed that sometimes you have to hold the key in the start position for like 5 seconds before the starter gets power and turns the motor over. I think it's a bad connection at the positive battery terminal. Always starts as soon as the starter kicks in.
No reserve must go!
Thanks,
Chris
