1998 Dodge Grand Caravan Description

Passenger side EZ Lock Wheelchair Docking System. Both front seats are removable if it is desired to use either or both sides for the wheelchair. Further, suitable tie down points are provided for mounting up to two wheelchairs in the second seat area. No second bench seat is provided as that is where wheelchairs maneuver into their locking and tie down positions. A third bench seat is provided for passengers.

The engine has just been serviced 1000 miles ago with new air and oil filters and Mobile 1 Synthetic oil. The transmission oil and filter where changed at the before that.

The van squats when the ramp is extended to reduce the upward angle of the ramp when you are going up the ramp to eliminate the danger of tipping over backward. Once inside and with the wheelchair locked into place, raising the ramp also raises the van to driving configuration. The van was originally used in South and North Carolina so there is no rust on the bodywork or chassis.

Known deficiencies: First, the audio speakers in both sides of the front and the rear speaker on the driver’s side do not work. This needs to be rechecked. I have not checked the faders. Second, since the van is a southern van, the heat deteriorated the adhesive to the headliner and it has come down
