1970 Dodge Challenger RTSE Description

I never thought that I would be selling this car. Due to a family crisis this car must be sold. When I got this car the original engine was gone so I decided to build the car the way I always wanted. I bought a 472 Stroked Hemi from Ray Barton. New block. It is completely built with all new parts. It has Stage 5 aluminum heads. The transmission is a 833NP iron case e body overdrive transmission. Cruising on the highway at 70 MPH it tachs at 2000 RPMs. Hydraulic throw out bearing. Lakewood bell housing. TTI headers and 3 inch magnaflow exhaust system. Dana 60 rear axle with 3.54 gears. Front 12 inch disc brakes and 11 inch rear drum brakes. Since there was no room for a vacuum brake booster the car was equipped with hydroboost for fantastic stopping power under any conditions. Car was built to be driven. I drove this car about 8 thousand miles without any issues. All front end parts are all brand new. There is so much in this car it is impossible to list everything. I have tons of receipts for all new parts. Even the dash gauges were sent out to be rebuilt. The car was meant and built to be driven comfortably. I did not like the original seats. They are not comfortable and do not hold you during performance driving. I had late model seats installed and the rear seat made to match the front seats. They are cloth and for some reason look gray in the pictures but I assure you that they are black. Very comfortable and hold you while driving. If you don't like them you can get some original seats. The floorboards were not altered in anyway to put these seats in. The car is an original RTSE. I dont know the actual mileage of the car before I got it. The gauges were rebuilt and the mileage was not turned back to zero. The car probably was owned by several different people in the past and I dont know how far it was driven. I put about 8k miles on it. Note: Not shown on pics. Hood pins have been added after the pics were taken because at high speeds the hood was lifting a bit. I like to cruise at 90 MPH. I have driven this car at over 130 MPH.
