Up for auction is this, 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. 5.9 liter, 24 valve, Cummings turbo diesel. This is a 1 million mile engine. It has 211,000 miles. This is one most, desirable, dependable diesel trucks you can buy. Chevy's have a lot of injector problems and are VERY costly to repair. The Ford Powerstroke's have head gasket problems, that are also VERY costly to repair. The Cummings turbo diesel's are well known to be bullet proof. The truck has a new transmission, newer all terrain tires and is 100% stock (no modifications). The motor starts right up and sounds great. It runs perfectly and has no check engine lights on. It has good oil pressure and never gets too hot. It has power windows and locks, tilt, cruise control, A/C, premium wheels, and fog lights. The heat blows hot and the A/C blows cold. The truck sits up nice and looks great. The body is very clean with no rust. The paint shines nice. (It does have a few normal scratches here and there). All 4 doors open and close with ease. Both the front and rear bumpers are mint with the exception of a small dent in the right front. The interior is in good condition, everything works except for the gas gauge. It never bothered me, I would fill it up every 350 miles, so I let it go. The truck has a nice bedliner and fiberglass cap. The cap does need a new rear window which I priced at $50.00. The 4 wheel drive works amazing. It shifts from 4wd high to 4wd low with ease. This truck will go through anything. It will effortlessly pull almost anything and has the tow package and hookup for the trailer brakes. This has been an excellent truck! It has a lot of life left in it. Good luck and happy bidding!
