This Durango has been garage kept its entire life and the car has never been in an accident or wreck. There is a barely noticeable ‘ding’ in the rear bumper where a jet-ski trailer hitch was pushed into it by accident as the car was parked (see video). The tailgate is unblemished and original; the lift struts are as new and the tailgate opens/closes with the key fob. I had full length factory, color-matched, running boards installed on the car when I purchased it for effortless entry and exit from any seat. It has the factory roof racks which can be used to carry kayaks, bikes, extra cargo or anything else you can strap up there. The factory Sirrus/XM-capable radio with CD player operates flawlessly. Full fingertip button audio controls are on the steering wheel along with the perfectly working cruise control. The car has a factory, “flip down” DVD entertainment center for rear passengers with a remote control and dual wireless headphones. Great for kids on those long journeys! The rear passengers also have their own separate climate controls for A/C and heat with individual settings for the back seat. The car has never been smoked in nor carried any pets….no hair, no odors, no stains… Included with the car are aftermarket hard rubber mats to protect the rear loading area including the backs of the second and third row seats – a very nice option.
These SUVs are noted for having the largest carrying capacity in their class with fold down third seats for hauling extra people or packages… I have hauled my 2100 lb boat behind this car on extended trips with no problem and it does include the trailering package with a hitch and electrical trailer-light connection.
All-in-all, it’s just a nice, well-maintained SUV suitable for long trips or buzzing around town. This car is up-to-date with all factory recalls performed and comes with its complete 9 year service history with detailed invoices. The ONLY reason I’m selling is because we rented a new Durango on a trip out west last year and the wife fell in love with it so I’m getting her one and this gem has to go! Inspections are welcome and the car is being sold ‘as-is’, ‘where-is’…
