DOCUMENTED ONE OWNER U CODE 440 CHARGER
1974 Dodge Charger SE Description
This is probably one of the finest examples of an original 1974 Dodge Charger SE you will find anywhere. With only 208 U code 440 SE’s produced this year it is also one of the rarest. Canada typically gets 10% of overall production so count on about 20 imported to Canada Throw in the fact that this is a ONE OWNERCAR bought in BC and it is very likely a one of one car in Canada. Great history as this car was maintained its whole life by the Dodge mechanic who did the actual pre delivery inspection on the car in Dec of 1973! We have the original warranty card, owners manual (not a reproduction) and even the original keys. It also comes with previous owners BC Collector plates. Of course the car is numbers matching throughout, including, engine, transmission, rear end, all manifolds and carb, all body panels, floor and trunk pans, even the bench seat with fold down console in amazing condition. The back seat has been sat in once in 43 years, by the original owner and his wife. The gentleman (great guy) decided to part with his baby as he was no longer adding to the original 93,000 miles. The car was garaged and covered when not in use. It has had one repaint due to fading and is nicely refinished in it’s original B5, Lucerne Blue . No accidents, no bondo. He also replaced the wheels the same day he picked the car up as SE’s in 1974 came with hubcaps, the car has period correct ET mags with brand new BFG T/A tires. Owner also added trans cooler, battery tender and fire extinguisher ( all useful but removable of course). This is a true untouched survivor car other than the paint. The fender tag reads as follows,

The only area showing it’s age are bubbles under the vinyl roof, the vinyl itself is excellent. The cost to repair and replace it is 2000.00 and will be negotiated. We are not touching it in case someone wants to retain it as original. The early to mid 70's 440's, while down on power have the beefiest bottom end and are great for modifying.
