The first owner left the vehicle in neutral and the car rolled into his garage door. It put a dent in the driver and passenger side front fender, scraped the front cone, broke the passenger side headlight cover door off, and broke off the driver side lower side skirt. I am including all parts needed to repair (both fenders, headlight cover and side skirt). I was planning to have the parts installed, but have decided to let the next owner decide what level they want to take that to. I was quoted $3,000 for paint and installation. The paint is factory B5 blue code (not custom). I had planned to list the car at $55,000, however I will discount to allow for the work. The pictures at the end show the damage and how it currently sits. All other pictures were taken for a magazine shoot when the car was used for promotional work (years ago).
This is the ultimate show car. I've not seen another. This is a pure attention getter. The B5 blue paint sets it off.
Serious offers only. The car will not leave my garage unless proof of funds and insurance are provided. This car sold for $100,000 just over 2 years ago. Very rare opportunity to own the #001 Challenger Superbird. Only a handful of HPP cars were built. One online article said around 20 had been built. HPP has since gone out of business, this car will continue to increase in rarity. Richard Petty Racing worked with HPP to design and build the body kit and also produced a limited run of Petty Racing Superbirds. This car is the original that all other followed.
