1968 Dodge Other Pickups Custom Description

I am selling one of Dodge's finest trucks, the 1968 D100 Sweptline. This truck has the coveted larger bed: 8'3" long x 5'10" wide. It has the capacity for a very large load. I am the second owner and have owned this truck for 7 years. The only other owner was a farmer and used this truck on his land in Sonoma, Ca. This truck gets a lot of attention from all types of people who see it or ride in it. This truck always starts and drives smooth like a dream. It is extremely dependable. The battery is a couple of years old but starts the engine on first turn over. I have reupholstered the seats in a 2-tone blue and gray style, including new padding, and it is be far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven. It is equipped with 3 sets of new seat belts for safe riding for my kids. I drove this truck on the average 2 or 3 times every week for my construction business, and it could easily be a daily driver. It is a smoke free vehicle. I did not repaint this truck because I personally like the rustic patina that it has developed. However, a 2-tone paint job like the original Dodges would look amazing.
This Dodge has the famous and indestructible 318 cu. in. engine. One of the best engines ever designed. It has new brakes, new tires, 2 moon hub caps on the front wheels, a spare tire under the bed, new wipers, new horn, new exhaust and muffler, and new rear glass. Following is a list of what works: wipers, horn, low and hi beams, both turn signals, brake lights, both crank windows and both wing windows, and all gauges including fuel-temperature-oil pressure-alternator.
I have all the original badges on the entire truck including the D-O-D-G-E metal letters on the hood. All of the metal trim pieces that go around the truck are in place. There are 2 large side mirrors and 2 wooden tool storage boxes in the engine compartment. The padded section of the dash is in perfect condition. I had a custom steel rack made for the bed in which I carried lumber. They are easily removable. Considering this is a truck that has led lives on a farm and in the construction world, other than typical small dings, it is free from damage ever caused by any accident, large or small. It has a very heavy duty steel rear bumper. And the original black and gold California license plates.
