2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Convertible Mamba Edition 84/200 One Owner

I am pleased to offer this very special 2005 Dodge Viper Convertible Mamba Edition. This car is #84 of 200 produced and is being offered by the original owner. Car has 12,270 +/- miles and has never been raced, tracked or abused. In contrast, it has been babied, loved and maintained. VIN # is 1B3JZ65Z35V501142.

Factory options per the window sticker include:

I bought this car new 9/30/05 from Lloyd Belt Chrysler in Eldon, Missouri. Window sticker was $87,845. It is #84 of 200. The Mamba Edition is the only version of Viper ever built, even today, that does not have all black interior. It has black seats with suede inserts, red leather accents throughout, and polished aluminum grab handles and accessories. I have seen almost two dozen of these on eBay that were totaled, so there is no telling how many of these 200 third generation Vipers remain (many were exported). The current 2017 Viper will be the last that will be built.

It also comes with a factory “Mamba” car cover and duffel bag (never used, always garaged). The car has always been based at my lake house and most of the mileage is from rural drives in the country, and six times as the Homecoming queens’ car in various venues up to 200 miles away. It has 12,270 miles (average of 1,115/year) and has NEVER, EVER been on a track.

The car has an 8.4 liter (512.5 cid) V-10 rated at 505 horsepower. It is bone stock and still has the original tires. There is a 6-speed Tremec and the stats are:

1st gear: 60 mph in 3.8 seconds
2nd gear: 100 mph in 8.36 seconds
3rd gear: 135 mph in 11.8 seconds (1/4 mile)
Top speed: 209 mph
0 to 100 to 0 in 12 seconds
27 mpg in 6th gear

This is to be sold with two sets of factory wheels (including those you have listed), along with the car cover, duffel bag, window sticker, and paper work. This is a high end auction level car without the buyer’s premium.

Owner notes that this Viper Mamba is very near perfect and has never been damaged or used on track.

In 2004 Dodge introduced a limited-edition Mamba package; Mamba-edition cars featured black interiors, with red stitching and trim and price increased by about MSRP $3000. 200 Mambas were produced.

I have always been a fan of numbered limited editions when it comes to purchasing unique cars. Why buy a Viper when you can have a numbered Mamba Edition. I have owned 2 numbered editions (Porsche and Maserati) and the re-sale value is always better on a numbered edition vehicle.
