1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Hardtop 2-Door Description

up for auction is a 1970 rt/se dodge challenger. she is rough and will need a full resto to bring her back to the glory days, but how cool is a high impact top banana yellow rt/se challenger. i have clean title in hand with buildsheet aswell. the car is pretty much complete but it is missing the 8 track radio, clutch fan, a/c condensor and dome light cover for overhead console. whats appears to be missing on the car is either inside of it or boxed up. yes the grill is there, its in the car, bumpers, front valance, radiator and so on are inside or in trunk aswell. all exterior trim, lenses or small parts are in totes. the car currently does roll and steer so transport is no issue. below is a little break down of the car

Rust-the rear rails are goo up to the axle then from axle back there is some patches that will need addressed-the trunk pan surprisingly isnt all too bad except for some small holes on the outer ends by trunk extentions, still has paint on it-for sure will need quarter skins-needs floor pan halfs at the minimun, the front floor on drivers side was cut out at one point-torsion support will need outer ends repaired.-has rust around hood hinge area
Drive train-still retains the numbers matching engine and trans 383/727. although it is currently not in the car and disassembled. it is missing the clutch fan and camshaft the block has been hot tanked and machined with new freeze plugs installed but it has sat now for awhile and could use a ball hone in the cylinders. it does come with all new bearings and rings for the engine. engine is complete and all parts are in totes that go with-trans im sure will need rebuild to ensure it works. it might just work fine now...-still has the 3.23 489 case sure grip rear end and big drum brakes-exhuast system was trashed but i did save the original dual exhaust chrome tips for the r/t rear valance
Brakes-yeah they dont work...will need complete rebuild front to back-still has facotory power bendix bake booster
Interiorthe interior is pretty much all there and in pretty decent shape. even the dash looks good. its an original 8 track radio car and is missing the radio. the rally cluster is not in the car but it is boxed up and goes with it. seat frames look good, door panels are good, console is good and even the overhead console is good except its missing the lenscover for the dome light.
