A toggle switch controls the side door and the ramp. You don't even have to hold the switch down. Tap down on the switch and the door opens and the ramp lowers. Tap up and the ramp retracts and the door closes. For convenience, there are THREE of these switches. One is on a remote control key fob, one is just inside the side door, and the third is on the dash. In addition, the driver's seat moves back and swivels to ease the process of transferring from the mobility device to driver's seat. There is a hard-surface floor in the center of the van, making it easy to maneuver the mobility device.The manual for the mobility system is included.
