Here for grabs is a 1970 Challenger withgreat potential to be a cool sleeper or an aggressive TA, RT, or even aHemi clone. It stands in it's original rare "CREAM" -YD3 color and black vinyl. It looks like it was repainted once before, it has faded and shows surface rust in typical areas. It originally came with a small block 318- two barrel engine, ACand auto transmission. Please look at the fender tag to confirm all other options for the car. This Challenger is a time capsule with Cragar style wheels and ithas been out of commission since the 70's. The top has weathered and unfortunately, the last owner didn't replace the vinyl top and left it sitting for many years without covering it from the elements. The top is rusted through and needs a full skin transplant. The frame of the top looks solid, except for the center rail, which is easy to replace. The original engine and transmission is long gone, but I will include a later LA 318 small block engine, it was a strong running engine before it got pulled out. It's been detailed, starting withnew Hemi-orange paint, Edelbrock intake, Milodon oil pan and new timing chain. The engine is not complete, but it's a good start to get this Challeger on the road with a low budget and later upgrade to a monster engine. Unfortunately, the car doesn't come with a transmission. The car's interior looksvery original and complete. It has the vinyl bucket seats with an awesome woodgrain trim console and the famous "RIM-BLOW" steering wheel. The car has all of it's stainless trim and original grill-headlights-front trim. The dash is very clean, solid, but the vinyl is weathered, needing replacement. The car comes with it's original drive shaft, spare tire, power brake booster-master cylinder, wiper motor, original solid hood and engine compartment brackets-hardware. The body has some dings and scratches (obvious faded paint), but very solid rockers, solid quarters, solid fenders and hood. The engine compartment is very clean and has been detailed in black due to my initial plans to build it as a triple black RT Clone. The rusty areas, obviously the top, trunk pan and a bitunder the rear seat. Overall, this sweet Challenger has great potential, what you would pay to replace quarters, fenders, rockers and other typical rust areas would cost way more than the cost you would invest in making this Challenger a worthy beauty.Seller has described vehicle as best as possible.Vehicle isSOLD AS IS, no warranties. Please review all pictures and ask as many questions as needed, but please ONLY BID if your a serious buyer.Seller reserves the right to end auction, as vehicle being sold locally.
