2005 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT Description

05 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT CUMMINS DIESEL
Truck is in excellent condition and is the cleanest you will ever find with the Legendary Pre-Emissions 5.9L H.O. Cummins Diesel Engine.
This truck is not like most. THE ENTIRE POWERTRAIN IS BRAND NEW. Over 20K Invested in just the Engine and Transmission. Everything from front to back has been replaced or rebuilt.
My main goals in mind were Quality, Reliability, and Longevity.

Here are some of the Main things that have went into the truck:

Brand New Remanufactured Blueprinted and Balanced Cummins 5.9 H.O. Engine

  • All Factory Cummins Parts Internally in the Engine

  • New Crankshaft directly from Cummins (Then Precision Balanced)

  • Brazil 12 Valve Rods in Bottom End (Balanced and Matched Set)

  • ARP 625 Head Studs

  • Head and Valve Train Remanufactured with New Seats, Valves, and Springs.

  • Every Seal, Gasket, Hose on this truck is New. The brand of gasket that I prefer is Fel-Pro Perma-Torque. No cheap gaskets were used on this truck. Hoses were either Gates or Genuine Cummins.

Brand New Bosch 50 HP Over Flow Matched Injectors

oHighest Quality Injectors you can Buy

oOnly 30% Increase in Tip Size to Match Increased Air Flow. The truck runs fantastic with this size and is only slightly oversized from stock which means it doesn’t smoke or run rough like most Absurdly oversized injectors some people put in.

oThese Injectors also have the Correct 143 degree Spray Pattern for the H.O. Style Piston’s. Not the 03-04 Style Oversized injectors in the H.O. Engine. (Fuel Atomizes Correctly and burns more thoroughly)

New reman CP3 Bosch Injection Pump

Fleece Performance Holset Cheetah 63/65mm Turbo

oDrop In Replacement. Built off Factory Turbo Housing.

oStock like Spooling and Driving Characteristics

oLower EGT’s

o40-45 PSI Operating Range

oRear Wheel HP Rating: 650 HP

New Remanufactured 48RFE Transmission

oTriple Disk Billet Torque Converter

oAll Dodge Transmission Issues Addressed

oAll new Electronics and Valve Body

oBillet Input Shaft

oTransmission Drain Plug for Ease of Servicing

oI also have the 6 speed Transmission with most everything to convert this truck that I may consider getting rid of if I sell the truck.

Rebuilt Rear Differential

oNew Bearings and Seals

oFull Synthetic Lucas Gear Oil

Resealed Front Differential

oNew Front Cover Seal, Pinion and Axle Seals

oNew Front Hub and Bearing Assemblies

oNew U-Joints on Front Axles

oFull Synthetic Lucas Gear Oil

Complete Front End Rebuilt

oUpper and Lower Ball Joints Replaced

oAll Tie Rods, Arms, and Bushings Replaced

oAll Quality MOOG Ball-Joints and Front-End Bushings

Complete Braking System Gone Through

oRebuilt Calipers

oDrilled and Slotted Performance Rotors

oCeramic Brake Pads

New Kenwood Double Din Radio

o6.5” Screen

oiPod Input

oBluetooth

oDVD

oFitted Dash Bezel (Looks as if it came Factory) No Adapter Plate or gaps.

Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx Tires from Tire Rama

oMounted on Factory Dodge Laramie 17” Alloy Wheels

Skyjacker Leveling Kit for the Front End

oNew spring and Shock

oNot a Spacer Leveling kit

Too much to list has been done to this truck…

About 600 miles since being completely rebuilt. First oil change on the engine has been done and an oil sample has been sent off to Black Stone Labs for analysis and has came back with perfect results for a new engine.

This build is the most reliable, longest lasting set up that you could get from the 5.9 Cummins and I believe most all would agree. Performance wise as it is now for any average guy would be more truck than you could ever dream of and the piece of mind knowing you could never wear it out or damage it. The Engine is basically the perfect matching of components to having a truck with Reliable greatly increased power while still having complete stock like driving characteristics and all that extra power for when you need it or are towing. And for the guy that wants a fully built engine and wants to add a twin turbo setup on it, programmers, or power adders this is also the truck for you. I was told the Engine would be good to up to about 1100HP. The possibilities are endless with this engine; the long block is built to where you would never have to touch it again no matter what you were adding to the truck. Or keep it just as it is and have a powerful reliable truck that will last forever.
