1997 Dodge Ram 1500 sport P/U with custom built 318 magnum engine with less than 5K miles.

I'm really just selling the motor the rest is free. New tires last spring. This is a Norman Lewis custom built motor. (You may not know him but he was a top engine builder around the southeastern drag circuits for many years until he passed away a couple of years ago.) It has a comp cam (.444 lift) just enough rumble. Heavy duty valve springs. Melling HD oil pump, double roller cam chains, Perfect circle rings, stainless bolts throughout, block was baked clean before the build and heads reworked. Full length headers and custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster cross flow muffler. The motor will turn over easy but doesn't start due to ignition issues. The motor is ready for a new intake and Norman recommended a 400-440 carb. The distributor is stock. Tranny works but has O/D issues. New shocks and brakes all around. I've $5k in this motor-asking $3K cash. Clear title. Local pickup only.
