2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport Description

This car is in great shape. It has been in a garage since I got it.
I had a mishap with learning my hand controls and bumped into a transport rubber bumper at a rolling speed. I had just put it into drive and the brakes couldn't be put on because I drive from the left and my chair controls were blocking the driving hand control and I couldn't put the brake on. So this vehicle has a whole new front end and radiator. Very minor accident.
It has a VMI conversion where the ramp comes out from under the floor. The floor is lower so that a person can drive from a wheelchair. The really nice thing about the older model is the driver's seat and the passenger seat are interchangeable. When you drive somewhere and you want to be a passenger on the return you don't have to bring the other chair, just move the passenger chair over into the driver's seat. I have two seatbelt tie downs to make this change safe for everyone.
The person in a wheelchair can be strapped down in driver's seat, passenger's seat or in the middle of the vehicle. Straps are included.
Tires have less than 5,000 miles on them. One window has the tinting peeled back in a few places where I've bumped it with my chair, see photo. A small dimple in the back door where I backed into a trailer with a gate open.
The power side door sometimes gets confused. It opens and closes fine, once in awhile it starts opening and then closes. you just have to push the button again to get it to proceed like it should. I bought the motor for the door but my mechanic says he would just use it as is until it won't go. I will include the motor for when that time happens.
Ask any questions before buying.
Selling because I've bought a full sized van and I don't need two. Give it a new useful home!
