2004 Dodge Ram 1500 1500 Description

2004 Dodge 1500 series Quad Cab 2 wheel drive automatic. A/C. cruise. tilt steering, full gauges, tow receiver.I purchased it about 4-5 years ago in dry sunny Southern CA. I later brought it to IA. Really enjoyed the truck and used it mainly for secondary transportation and light duty trips to like Home Depot, camping trips etc. It has the room inside of a full sized sedan, and gets quite decent fuel economy too- all this in a truck! I checked car report on it and it exceeded adverage margin, clean report, only 2 owners!
The previous original owner had a lift done on the truck when it was new installed professionally (I recently had all those front bushings replaced/with new). Side and rear windows have tint and also equipped with a nice Pioneer flat screen stereo, DVD, MP3, CD, AM-FM, with a remote. Other than the rims and tires the rest of the truck is nice and stock down to "roll up window cranks" remember those?. Not a lot of unnecessary options and clutter on this 1500, just clean and simple, ready for work or play!
Truck had its entire engine professionally replaced at 112464 miles on it back in Oct 2013. Engine runs extremely well as it should needless to say with plenty of pep and life. Along with that at that time water pump and other bolt on components were replaced with new. I very recently had rear differential pinon and bearings, seals all replaced, new brake pads too. All quite recent. I have receipts.
There is a 2 " receiver hitch with trailer brake package (for light duty hauling like a boat, utility or ATV trailer), also has sliding rear cab window and bed light.
Nice truck, I always had the oil changed as scheduled and maintenance performed as needed. In fact oil was just changed again a month ago. I honestly don't have the need for this truck anymore as we bit the bullet and (probably made mistake) and purchased a new one.
Its not perfect as its over ten years old and used but, good or better overall condition, ready to go. Looks really nice. Small dings on pass side fenders (see photo), small tear on center armrest, some stains, blemishes, light scratches, chips etc etc. grab handles are through bolted, as they should have been from the drafting table. it's going to need new tires sometime in the near future, I figured new owner would want to choose their own size, brand, tread design etc etc. Original paint that still looks overall great. It still get's compliments. Most importantly NO RUST!Priced very reasonably to sell, this truck is solid and dependable. I intended on keeping it for the long haul but, new one changed the plan..My loss your gain. Dealer offered me 5k trade in. I told him I would either keep it or will sell it myself.
