Currently has 4:10 dana 60 front and 3:50 dana 70 rear. I have a complete set of both axles 4:10 and 3:50 (3:50 is dana 60 front and dana 70 rear. 4:10 is dana 60 front and dana 80 rear) I drive this truck long distances for work unloaded and needed mpg, hence the 3:50 rear. All axles go with thetruck. Dana 80 rear needs new rear brakes (drums) but was planning disc conversion. Because of current axles aremismatched 4wd does not work but transfercase is in excellent condition, withfresh service, it just needs matched axles to be installed to operate properly.Truck runs and shifts extremely well. New fuelgrid heater solenoids, starts in coldest weather without needing block heater. Lots of battery power. Highway unloaded it gets around 21 MPG at 70 MPH (2000 RPM). Will pull anything with a hitch.
Known issues:Typical dodge front end. Looseand needs attention. Leakspower steering fluid and coolant and has since I purchased it. I add approx 1-2 quarts of coolant at oil change intervals (3000 mile). Power steering is small quarter size spot overnight. Needs rear brake line, I still drive it but only has front brakes. Rust, dents, cab corners and rockers need replace. I bedlined those areas for appearance. Cab mounts are good and body lines are decent. Grill is cracked and broken. Paint is not the greatest and lifting in spots. Tailgate is dented and beat up.Hood needs analignment. This was a work truck for a long time. No PDL No PW. Crack in gauge lens (see pic). Tool box pictured is not included.
In short this is a work truck that has some great potential. I have gotten all the use I need from this truck and am moving on. This truck always starts and I would not hesitate to drive it cross country with the rear brake linerepaired. I amstill driving it locally so mileage with go up.Please ask any and all questions before auction closes. Please make an appointment to inspect before auction closes.
