1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Lariat Description

99 dodge 2500 2wd cummins turbo diesel with 152,000 original miles. In very nice shape. Never 5th wheeled.
New front suspension- complete with BD steering stabilizer and bilstein shocks. New starter, crank position sensor, oil pressure switch, ps steering pump and hoses. FASS fuel pump relocated to frame rail. Napa heavy duty water/fuel filter installed on frame rail as well. Catalytic converter deleted with magnaflow muffler. New battery cables.
New upper dash- not an overlay or cover. A pillar pod guage cluster with isspro boost and fuel pressure guages. Front seats recovered, new foam and 3 new power seat motors in drivers seat. Sony stereo with jl audio speakers. Cold AC.
The drivers door has a slight sag in it from normal wear. It may need a new hinge pin or may just need to be adjusted- not sure. The air bag light illuminates every now and then. I am told it is due to a weak air bag clock spring behind the horn cover on the steering wheel. The light illuminated on the cluster in the photo is the brake light as the emergency brake is on being that the truck was parked on a hill. The overhead console- compass, outside temperature and fuel display is not working. This truck starts by waiting for the "wait to start" light to come on. When you turn the key on, the dash lights come on, then go off, then the "wait to start" light comes on and the truck starts just fine. It does not trigger the fuel pump until this light comes on. I work for a large Fire Department and we have a number of these trucks in our fleet. They all start this way. One of the fleet mechanics tells me these trucks are known to have a "lazy computer", but they last until eternity and you just have to wait for the light to start the trucks. If any of this is a problem or freaks you out in any way, DO NOT BID ON THIS TRUCK.
New grill and one piece headlights. ARE color matched bed cap. Uniroyal heavy duty tires still have a fair amount of tread. The paint is peeling on the roof and on the mirrors but the truck still looks very good. Runs great. 22mpg on the highway. Very clean and nice condition for a 99. All REASONABLE offers considered. Will consider trading for muscle cars or boats.
