2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab Laramie Dually. 5.9 Cummins, auto. Has every or nearly every option offered in 06. Leather, power moon roof, rear dvd/entertainment, NAV, 6 disc, MP3, u connect blue tooth, power pedals, power rear sliding window, the list goes on. I have the print out of all its standard equipment and options. I bought this truck May of 09, at that time it had 100K miles. I looked for nearly a year to find this combination. 06 was first year for Mega Cab and last full year for 5.9, mid 07 started the 6.7 cummins. Also its difficult to find a Laramie, black on grey with bucket seats and console instead of the usual split front seat configuration.This truck has been meticulously maintained with an open check book, no expense spared. At 225K miles the transmission was completely rebuilt and an 800.00 torque convertor installed, no issues since. Spicer u joints installed. Always changed oil/filter/fuel filter every 6K miles. Rotella oil always, WIX filters. Just recently went thru steering, balljoints, brakes, calipers, rotors, pads, lines, using MOOG, Bosch rotors etc...Truck runs as good today as when I bought it, doesn't use oil between changes, routinely gets 22-24 MPG. Has a mild two setting programmer, 4 inch MBRP exhaust, not too loud but sounds like 5.9 should. Only light hauling/towing. Never anything more than an enclosed 24 ft car hauler.Runs, drives, stops, steers as it should. Very solid truck.Interior is nice, not perfect but nice. Seats are not torn, broke down etc.. Non smoker.Paint and sheet metal are original other than tailgate. No accidents/repairs. A few dings and scratches here and there but nothing obnoxious. Right rear fiberglass fender flare has a slight crunch, but not bad. Typical wear and tear for an 11 year old vehicle. I did remove all badging, paint grill and rear bumper black and powder coated wheels gloss black. Tires have at least 30K left on them.Two issues: drivers heated seat works intermittently and left rear power window doesn't always work. I've replaced window regulator/motor, switch and even drivers door main control switch, still acts up occasionally.Overall this is a great truck with a lot of life left. Hard to find this combination of dually, mega cab, 5.9, Laramie.NADA puts an average trade in value of 22K even with miles.
