1927 Dodge Truck Restoration Project.
~95% of Parts.
Lifelong S. Cal. Vehicle.
This 1927 Dodge truck was disassembled and stored in a barn since 1979. The first 2 photos show what it looked like in 1979 before it was disassembled. Supposedly, this truck has spent its entire life in Loma Linda and Redlands, California (where it is now) and judging from the lack of decay, I think that is a fact. The cab, hood, and fenders have some small dings but no dents and only surface rust (patina). The frame is also in amazingly good condition--straight and just surface rust. The truck bed needs work though--I don't think the bed is original to the truck but its the same one in the first photo. I have been intending on restoring this for my orchard truck but haven't gotten around to it in years so now I want my garage back. This is a great project for someone wanting to restore it back to original or a rat-rod or hot-rod. Because it is disassembled, you will be able to inspect every part unlike if you purchase a complete car and it will save you many hours disassembling it in order to do a complete restoration. All the parts will fit in a midsize UHaul or a large trailer.I'm happy to help coordinate with any shipper you hire. The following parts are all original to the truck: frame, lights and lenses, both axles, both running boards, both bumpers, the folding hood, cab, cowl, 4 leaf spring assemblies, transmission, 4 cylinder engine (and engine stand), clutch/brake/gas pedal assembly, gauges, steering assembly
, bench seat, dash, unbroken glass, doors, lots of paperwork and photos, bolts, other small stuff, and more. It also has the truck bed of the era. It needs: 1 rear fender, a radiator, steering wheel, wiring/hoses/belt, wheels/tires,
a canvas top and fabric for the bench seat.
