1998 Dodge Neon Sport Description

This is not your typical kids' ragged out Neon that is just thrown together ... I'm 47 years old, and me and my 27 year son built this car for the last 5 years using the best of everything !!! Long story short, he went back into the military and there is no reason for the car to just sit here. We have over $15,640 in this car, and that doesn't include all of the labor. The car is extremely reliable, you can drive it everyday anywhere !!! As of right now the car only has 4,687 miles on everything, and only 86k orig miles on body.... It runs and drives like a brand new car, and like I said its very reliable ..... I would trust this car to drive across country right now with no problems at all !!! Ok, Motor.... we did a brand new 2.4L 420A block, with a 2.4L 95-00 DOHC head, ported and polished. We did brand new JE short skirt light weight dish pistons .866 pistons pins, file fit rings, oliver billet steel rods, balanced crank, new Mopar main and rod bearings, new Mopar oil pump, ect...... All brand new.Brand new HX35 wholeset Turbo that right now is set on 21psi and made 348rwhp to the tire, with 93oct, and water-meth..., also has front mount intercooler.Transmission: we did a brand new T850 five speed, with ACT Clutch kit and pro light flywheel XT street sprung.Brand new level 3 axles, Vivid Aluminum driveshaft, with heavy duty u-jointsBrand new brakes all the way aroundNice black 5 star wheels, with great tires !!!New Mishimoto radiator with daul elec fans, car runs nice and cool !!The interior is in very nice shape !!! All gauges, lights ect......All work perfect !!! Aem air fuel, autometer boost, water temp, and oil pressure gauges with red LEDs...looks great.The paint shines like new with only a few light scratches on hood and trunk, but still looks great over all.The car is a total sleeper because it's just a First Gen 98 4dr neon that weighs 2,540lbs with a full tank, without me in i, and will tear up any stock SRT4 all day. I don't really know what else to say, whoever gets this car is going to love it !!!! You can hop in this car right now and daily drive it with no trouble at all. Doesn't leak any fluids, doesn't smoke, NOTHING, the car is ready to go !! Oh yea I almost forgot, the car is equipped Mega Squirt MS1 and the car is tuned perfect right now. So no reason to mess with it, but it's very easy to do with Tuner Studio on a laptop.Air fuel at WOT is right at 11:6.
