2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie Description

This is one of the hard to find low mileage 5.9 HO Cummins that everybody wants. This truck was professionally lifted to run as large as 54 inch tires. No expense was spared when building this streetable monster truck. The truck comes equipped with the typical Laramie options as far as heated leather seating, A, cruise, etc. and shows like new. The suspension upgrades are all custom heim joint front suspension parts. Redhead heavy duty steering gearbox, lower steering shaft stabilizing bar, Fox racing adjustable coil over front shocks and springs. Lock out hub conversion for durability. Indexed transfer case and custom driveshafts for correct driveline angles. A killer 2 amp custom clarion audio/video system with sub, Train horns, and more make this the truck that turns heads everywhere it goes. Front and rear differentials were geared to keep performance up with large wheels and tires. Speedometer reads within a mph or two at highway speeds with 46 inch tires. Rear suspension is equipped with BDS suspension ladder bars and quad fox racing high performance shocks. AMP Research auto running boards. There is more that I am sure I am missing, but, look at the pictures and you will see that this one was done right !
This truck was built to go just about anywhere, but has never been mudded, pulled, raced, or abused in any way. It is built to take it but, it was too nice a truck for me to use for anything more than daily driving duties and parades and shows. It was adult owned, and maintained and kept as such. THIS TRUCK IS HUGE, again, THIS TRUCK IS HUGE. However, it drives great at highway speeds. I have personally driven this truck from North Carolina to both Florida and Pennsylvania. The almost New 46 inch Goodyear DOT certified MVT Radials are surprisingly quiet and smooth on road for heavy 14 ply tires. It handles well with little to no body roll, bumpsteer, or other common issues with large lifted vehicles. A professional heavy truck alignment was done with adjustable ball joints to make sure everything is as good as it gets both on the road and off the road. Fuel mileage is as good with this truck as my 2012 Ram 2500 6.7 H.O. Diesel. That being said, it does have some downfalls when it comes to daily street use. Drive Thrus .... for get about it. The turning radius is larger than stock and there is slight tire rubbing at full lock with the inside of the tire on the lower 4 link suspension arm. This could be solved with 1 inch wheel spacers but I liked the look of the truck not so wide so I removed the spacers. In some states, this thing is not street legal, it is simply too high. Check with your local lift laws before bidding. Some states it can be made legal with the simple addition of fender flares, lowered lights, etc. others it is fine as is.
The bad, very little. The bed has a hole in the center where a previous installed 5 th. wheel plate was installed and removed. The paint is starting to fade a bit on the front plastic bumper cover. There is a small area where the clear coat is starting to peel on the very top of the rear passenger side door. There is also a signature on the passenger side dashboard from BUBBA SPARX. (It was there when I bought the truck.) The compressor for the air horns had a melt down during the last parade we were in. Other than that, this truck is beautiful.
Here is the deal, this is not a fire sale. I do not have to sell this truck and I don't have time for tire kickers and silly offers. This truck in stock configuration has a blue book value over the reserve. There is over 30 grand in mods and upgrades. I simply am too busy to have so many toys. Check with your wife, girlfriend, neighbor, preacher, Mother etc. before bidding to make sure this is the truck for you. I assure you will need to budget extra time for errands in this beast as you will be approached constantly by strangers asking you if they can take pictures of your truck, or, how you manage to get in it. I have title in hand with no liens.
