1995 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Description

You're looking at a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 with 12 valve Cummins diesel engine. The wheelbase has been shortened to a regular cab shortbed, this is not a factory option. I did not do the shortening myself, it was done by the previous owner who owned a fabrication shop. The inside of the frame has 3/8" gussets where the chop was made. Gas tank and everything else needed to complete the swap was either fabricated by him or came out a 1500 ram that had the same wheelbase. Driveshaft is a custom 1 piece unit. The truck looks factory if you didn't know that Dodge didn't make the 2500's this way. Truck is a 5 speed with heavy duty organic valair clutch. Trans has 100 miles on rebuild.

When I got the truck the KDP had already fallen out and done some damage. The following was done in May 2016 for repairs. I did the upgrades at that time as well.
Replace Timing Gear Housing and front cover (requires removal of cam)
New head gasket
ARP head studs
Head had a full valve job done
BD Diesel 60lb valve springs
ISSPRO Fuel Pressure, Boost, EGT Gauges
Industrial Injection 80hp Injectors
Timing was set to 18 degrees
The above work was done by reputable local diesel shop
The injection pump in the truck is stock. The current stock turbo has the wastegate plugged and will EASILY make 45lbs of boost. Only other engine modifications are the BHAF upgrade as well as 4" turbo back exhaust to 6" stack. Truck does have the FTE 30" resonator; necessary in a single cab otherwise the truck is uncomfortably loud. I also laid dynomat in the interior for additional sound deadening.
Headlights are 6000K HID in smoked lenses
Tail Lights are LED- also smoked lenses
Wheels are 20x10 Fuel Mavericks with Nitto 420S tires- one wheel has a considerable amount of brake dust to brakes going metal on metal when the previous owner had it.
Truck now has new front brakes and all new steering. I just replaced 4 ball joints, 1 control arm that needed it, Inner and Outer wheel bearings, Inner and Outer Tie Rods, Pitman Arm, and Idler Arm. Truck was aligned after that work.
The truck's biggest need is paint due to being two colors and fading clear coat. As is the truck does come with a new roll pan for the rear, as well as new front bumper and plastics that can be color matched (no chrome). Truck is 99% RUST FREE. Only spot is a small area on the bottom of the drivers door. Otherwise it is ready for paint. Frame is the cleanest second gen you'll see.
On the interior I installed a brand new headliner. I have brand new sun visors for the truck, but I do not have the rods they mount on (and cannot find them new) so the visors are not installed. Only blemishes on the interior are 1 crack in the dash and rip in drivers seat.
Current mileage is 195,000 on this million mile motor.
I've owned the truck for a year and only put 1,500 miles on it. That is my reason for selling. Truck is currently in storage at my parent's house. I have no room for it and no time to finish it the way I like. My loss is your gain. Good luck finding another custom wheelbase truck with fresh head, fresh trans, and fresh injectors.

12/31/16 Trans fully rebuilt
Was $11,500 now $10,000 and a rebuilt trans as well. I have more then that in receipts for the work listed. Would cost over $20,000 to build this truck with all the new parts.
