1968 Dodge Charger Description

1968 Dodge Charger. Runs strong, drives 440 magnum special order (Not original) The car is complete and about 85 % original I'd say. 391 gears, 727 auto. & a 780 Holley carb., Offenhauser intake, Hooker Headers, Drag Line Racing Wheels etc.. The description of the paperwork did not allow for the actual status. The car is all there and can be driven, but it has not been on the road in awhile so if you drive it, this will be at your own risk.. The brakes hold but are not great.. There are scratches dings etc you'd expect but for its age its in really good shape.. The engine kicks ass, Its very

The car is in better shape than most the frame is in really good shape. Anyone bidding on this car knows what it is, how rare it is, and can see its in more decent than most. Its not original but who cares? Please dont mess me around and waste your time or mine. The paperwork on the car is messed up. If you want the car expect to pay for the car either paypal or cash.. The car will require a 1000.00 deposit or I will not hold the car. The car must be picked up ASAP as I am moving.. The car does NOT leave here unless paid in full.. The only check I will accept is a cashiers check period.. I really do not want to sell it so if this becomes a bother to me then I'll simply keep the car.. I reserve the right to end the auction early.. Thats about it so if you want the car abide by these terms

The Charger has a 1967 special order 440 hp (Magnum) engine in it now out of a 1967 Chrysler Imperial. Whether or not its an actual R/T is obvious, however the emblems are definitely originals of that era. I do not know if or how much body work has been done..

The car will be sold with a bill of sale, and a perfectly good 69 Charger paperwork (Its a long story) I bought a 68 and a 69 for parts in 1992. The 69 parts car got junked accidentally with the 68 paperwork. I have a perfectly fine paperwork for a 69, but the car is a 68. The guy I bought the two cars from is now deceased. The paperwork was never done up in my name as my daughter's kidneys failed in 1993. The car has been stored since 1993. Only recently after my baby girl passed away did I get the car out of storage and find my mistake with the paperwork. I checked with Colorado and according to the state the vin has been out of circulation so long they can't even find a record of the car. Whether or not this can be fixed is a mystery to me. However I believe that it's worth the effort. When my daughter passed away I have lost all interest in the car and in life, I hope you can understand this. She always wanted that car, and I told her if she got well it was hers. She did not get well.

The vin tags on the car match and are intact.

It is difficult to explain all of this without using the "T" word as I am told that ebay does not allow use of the "T" word so I use the word "paperwork" instead. Its even more difficult letting go of this car after 26 years, and even tougher letting go of my daughter.

One final point. I've been as honest in this auction as I can possibly be so I expect the same. I will not accept any messing around. The winner of the auction pays what's listed and follows the instructions. The car is sold as is and as shown. If you are planning on coming here to pick up the car by first trying to talk me down or bad mouth the car, then save yourself the trip. I know what the car is, and believe me, it won't take much nonsense before I decide to keep the car. That being said, and knowing the paperwork situation happy bidding and may the best person win. I will entertain offers and consider ending this early. Once paid for in full, the car must be picked up A.S.A.P. as I am moving back home to forget. Please understand that losing my baby girl took its toll on me and I just want out, so please be on the up and up with me.
