1966 Dodge Charger Description

Up for sale is a 1966 Dodge Charger 383. This is an original factory Air conditioned car, although the compressor has been removed. She runs and drives great for a 50 year old car. I don't think the engine has ever been rebuilt. This is a great cruiser and shifts great. The rotating headlights are working and have rebuilt motors, new relays and brand new limit switches. Most of the front end is brand new. It has new ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, and idler arms. Just recently put a front disk brake conversion kit which features a brand new master cylinder and rebuilt booster. The brake lines throughout the whole car are brand new and the rear drum brakes are also brand new. It has brand new larger cocker rims and BF Goodrich tires to make room for the new front disk brakes. all the exterior lights have brand new led lights that look great at night and are much brighter and safer. I recently just replaced the grill emblem as well as the deck lid emblem and they look great!
As far as the engine goes, It has a brand new alternator, new battery, and new battery cables. It also had a recent oil change, new antifreeze and thermostat, as well as a full tune up. I also replaced all the power steering lines. Like I said, she runs great does smoke a little. After she warms up it goes away. It could use a rebuild for sure but not right away.
The body and under carriage are in excellent original shape. Just minor surface rust at different spots but no rot. The worst spot is in the passenger side quarter which you can see in one of the photos. It looks like a previous owner lightly brushed up against a tree. underneath is in great shape. Once again just minor surface rust. I believe this car had an undercoating early in its life. This car is pretty much ready to get sanded down and painted whatever color you like.
The interior is also in great shape for its age. It can definitely use some carpet as well as some gauge work. It also needs a glove box striker which seems to be hard to find for some reason. all in all its in very good shape and still presentable.
I really wish i could keep this car, I just don't have the time to do what i want with it. This an excellent car to fix up and make show worthy pretty quick. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Serious offers only please, Thank You!
