2007 Dodge Sprinter High Roof Description

This 2007 Sprinter is a 2500 High Roof, medium length, Diesel. We purchased this van new and have put almost exclusively highway miles on it. We have never put a trailer behind it and used it only for light duty service calls around the country. For this type of odometer miles, this van is as good as it gets. We have serviced this van regularly in our small fleet, changing the oil and filter every 5000 miles.
The van has never been in an accident other than one of our guys denting the front drivers side fender in our parking lot, necessitating a replacement. We used it as a multi state service van, and as such, it has the faint oxidation around the paint around where the lettering was -- not too bad and it can certainly be buffed out or left -- it is barely noticeable. The body is in decent shape -- no rust, but it has some small dings and imperfections. The only service outside of filter and fluids replacement that this van has ever experienced are: a replacement driveshaft early in the van's life (the original one caused a slight vibration), tires (the present ones are Michelin and have considerable life left), struts/shocks on the front, and one set of brake pads (I did mention that this van has led an easy highway life).
The engine starts right up from cold with no smoke, no odd noises, and no drama. Zero smoke is ever present -- cold start up, hot start up, acceleration, stopping, etc. -- None. Fuel Mileage is a pretty honest 18 mpg with normal 70-75 mph highway speeds. This is a fairly basic diesel, emissions-wise -- newer ones have more catalytic converters, DPF's, diesel exhaust fluid, extensive EGR, etc -- NOT THIS VAN! This is a simpler, easier, and cheaper to service van. On top of all of this, the van has excellent torque and acceleration, just like when it was new.
Windshield is absolutely perfect, as is all glass. Seats are still very good and have no tears or wear spots. The van does have a 3rd seat -- a folding jump seat (not factory, but sturdy and 10 times better than a bucket). Shelves are included, but can easily be removed. We installed pretty thick white polyethylene sheeting to protect walls in the back and a considerable amount of sound deadening/insulation. An aftermarket stereo works great and includes a remote and removable face. Steering is perfect -- straight, easy, no dead spot, and smooth as new. All electrical items work perfectly, with the possible exception of the tire pressure monitor indicator (I may need to air up the tires further, so it may actually be fine). We installed a "Ram" lap top desk/table/thing that can securely hold a lap top or tablet for use or it can be swung out of the way or removed.
All in all, this van would be awesome for a variety of purposes: company service, van camping, stealth camper, motorcycle hauler, band van, you name it. These Sprinters have a pretty legendary Mercedes reliability and there are a bunch of them out there with way over a half million hard miles. This van has lots to offer and is very nice to drive, especially on road trips (it is actually pretty darn fun to hit the road and just drive in this thing). Check the CarFax, this van is clean as a whistle, as is the title.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thank you for taking the time to look.
